A couple for whom physical proximity doesn’t mean spiritual closeness at all are on their way to a family event outside the city. A disagreement over a mundane issue forces them to stop, yielding an unexpected yet predictable discovery.

Teymur Hajiyev
Teymur Hajiyev was born in Baku, Azerbaijan, and holds a bachelor’s degree in economic cybernetics from Baku State University and an MBA in marketing from West Texas A&M University. Teymur premiered his directorial debut short, The Wound (2014), at the Palm Springs ShortsFest. His second short, Shanghai, Baku (2016), premiered at the Tampere Film Festival, and his third short, salt, pepper to taste (2019), premiered at the Rotterdam International Film Festival. Towards Evening (2020) was included in the Semaine de la Critique section at the Cannes Film Festival. Teymur is currently working on his debut feature-length film with the working title Man in a Blue Sweater.
