David Fidalgo
David Fidalgo has a degree in fine arts from the School of Fine Arts in Pontevedra. His artistic work, focused on plastic and audio-visual animation art, addresses the human condition through irony and humor, including elements of popular culture such as memes or the language of social networks. His audiovisual work includes Cartas a Superman (2016), Homomaquia (2019), and Reality (2020), for which he has received numerous accolades, including selections at Palm Springs, WEIRD, and Sitges, as well as the Mestre Mateo Award from the Academia Galega do Audiovisual, the Audience Award at the Malaga Film Festival, and a nomination for the 2020 Goya Awards.
