The Grand Prize for the Best Czech Short Film goes to Atlantis, 2003 by Michal Blaško

The Grand Prize for the Best Czech Short Film, which includes a prize of 2,000 euros, goes to Atlantis, 2003 by Michal Blaško. The National jury were greatly impressed:" The power, tension and impact of the film was devastating. Atlantis 2003 dealt with an ugly truth in a way that drove through to the heart of a prevalent and inhuman act that created true cinema."The jury consisted of the British director Daniel Mulloy, a winner of numerous awards including two BAFTAs whose latest short film  Home won the European Film Award; Daniel Bergmann, the producer and founder of Stink Films; and the Polish script doctor Monika Franczak.
