A skater emerges from a burnt-down forest in search of smooth concrete. Along his way, he runs into two fellow travelers struggling to find the courage to change. A meditation on the transcendence of movement and action, in which each actor plays a version of themselves.

Jackson Kroopf
Jackson Kroopf is a filmmaker and educator from Los Angeles. He works in both fiction and non-fiction, but usually somewhere in-between. His short films have been shown at the Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival, Frameline Film Festival, New Orleans Film Festival, and BFI London Film Festival. Jackson received his BA in Imagined Alternatives from Vassar College and an MFA in Social Documentation from the University of California, Santa Cruz. He creates online content and teaches film production at Vassar College.
