International Competition 4

The main part of the festival program is the International Competition, which this year presents twenty films from seventeen different countries. Screened in four blocks, the selected films offer a picture of how rich and diverse international short films are today in terms of both style and subject matter. Besides ten European productions, the competition also presents films from more distant cultures, including the USA, Canada, Brazil, South Korea, Australia, the Philippines, Malaysia, and Azerbaijan. The section’s international jury will present an Award for Best Film (including a financial reward in the height of 2,000 euros) and two Honorable Mentions.
