Joecar Hanna

Chinese-Lebanese filmmaker Joecar Hanna was raised in Valencia, Spain, and recently finished his studies in the Graduate Film MFA program at NYU. In Spain, Joecar edited six feature films, including The Uncovering (2018) and Bikes The Movie (2018), which was nominated for a Goya, Spain’s Academy Awards. His debut narrative short film Deliver Me earned him the Ang Lee Scholarship Award, premiered in the Main Shorts Competition at SXSW 2023, and was sold to Canal+.
