After four years, this year’s summer will again belong to fierce rivalry between football teams from all continents and their fans. The World Cup starts in South Africa on the 11th of June and it is high time to get ready. Preparations should be thorough, even though, thanks to a less than successful qualification, our country will be represented only by Czech football fans cheering for the most part from their TV sets. Let’s not make the same mistake and underestimate our adversaries! This section’s five films, one way or the other about football, provide an excellent physical and tactical training manual. And let’s not forget the fact that Italy will be defending its World Cup title.
