Stefanie Zeitler, Sales Manager, Bavaria Film Internatinal, Germany

Stefanie ZeitlerStefanie Zeitler (1974) is working since 2000 for Bavaria Film International, a world sales company based in Munich (GOOD BYE,LENIN!, NOWHERE IN AFRICA, RUN LOLA RUN, LET THE RIGHT ONE IN). After coordinating film festivals, she started as sales manager in 2002.

 

Alexandre Charles, Producer and Director, France

Alexandre CharletAlexandre Charlet was born in Annecy in 1972. He moved to Paris and in 1993, graduated from Ecole Supérieure d’Etudes Cinématographiques. Since his first internship in direction in 1994 on the film Les Misérables by Claude Lelouch, he has worked non-stop as assistant director, production manager, and line producer on different projects including feature films, TV films and TV commercials.In 1999, Alexandre started his own company, Les Films du Cygne, designed to produce short and feature films. In 2002, he developed Swan, created to produce commissioned films and TV commercials. Along with these production activities, Alexandre is a director. Since 1993, he has made several short documentaries, promotional films and making-of shorts. In 2006, he directed his first short fiction film „Peter Pan a grandi et John Lennon est mort”

 

Matteo Bartoli, Director of the International Short Film Festival Cirquito Off, Italy

Matteo BartoliMateo Bartoli was born in Florence and studied philosophy at this Tuscan metropolis’ university. He moved to Paris after graduation to pursue a PhD. in cultural events organization and management. After a series of short-term employments, including film production, he joined the team of the Circuito Off short film festival, which he now directs. He recently co-founded the Lightbox publishing house in Venice that focuses on new talent search.

 

David Ondříček, Director and Producer, Czech Republic

David OndříčekDirector and producer. In the years 1987–1992 he studied documentary filmmaking at Prague’s FAMU. In 1990 he started making short films, including one about the artist Theodor Pištěk (1991). He debuted in feature film with a love story focusing on Prague’s young generation Whisper (1996). This was followed by the bitter-sweet comedy Loners (2000), which was nominated for 10 Czech Lion awards and was hailed at numerous festivals (Audience Prize at the Warsaw and Thessaloniki IFFs, FIPRESCI prize at the Mannheim IFF). Three years later he made the dark comedy One Hand Can’t Clap (awarded two Czech Lions in 2003). He received recognition for his film Grandhotel, presented at last year’s Berlinale (Panorama).

 

Saša Michailidis, Director of radio station Radio 1, Czech Republic

Saša MichailidisIn fall 1993, he went to Radio 1 and offered to make a show about movies. He went on air with zero journalism or radio experience. He still presents Radio 1’s “Film at Five” today. Except now, he is also the station’s director.
